Make sure you aren’t being that aggressively selfish person, either! Spend some time looking at where you could be more transparent or communicative, and counter the effects of those lacking empathy by being a little more kind and compassionate toward others today, while also maintaining firm boundaries with those who would take advantage of your kindness.
