Today’s card is the Fool. Often typecast as naive and about to step off a cliff, I actually really like this card and see her as more of an eager youngster about to head out on her own for the first time. Like a coyote pup about to explore new territory, she’s been prepared by her parents with everything they know, and now it’s time for her to put her learning to the test. Sure, she’ll mess up some here and there, but that’s just a part of life. Today, be like that coyote pup with her favorite antler toy in her jaws as she starts down a new path. Be wide-eyed, excited, exuberant even about the path ahead of you. Take something that you’ve only really worked with in theory, and try it out in the real world. Be mindful of what might happen if something goes wrong–but be buoyed up by the possibilities for what happens if something goes right!
