Today’s reading is with my Pocket Osteomancy set!
Tooth: The Tooth is in Fall. The decisions you’re making come from a place of accomplishment, and the need to take a break now that you’ve seen some results. Make sure your choices are in alignment with your best interests, to include making space for self-care and enjoyment of life, not just work and responsibility.
Vertebra: This bone is in Spring, but in the corner very near the boundary among all four quadrants. This suggests that your day to day life could go in any of a number of directions, and you’re desperately looking for a change. While Spring may seem lovely, it’s still a lean time for many, and you really want to get rid of things in your life that no longer do well for you. It’s time to streamline, and move on.
Rib: Tucked up right next to the Long Bone in Fall, the Rib suggests that you are acting through your emotions. You’re tired, you need a break, and you’re no longer pretending otherwise. It’s okay to be honest about your needs and wants; just make sure that you also consider the rational perspectives associated with your decisions.
Long Bone: Also in Fall, supported a bit by the Rib, this bone reiterates that message that you’re letting your emotions lead you. Don’t get me wrong–you’re correct in that this is a good time to slow down so you can get a clearer view of the world around you. But you do need a balanced perspective.
Overview: This reading is very similar to last week’s osteomancy reading. Not only is it reminding it’s okay to take a break, but your perspective may be clouded by your emotional and physical exhaustion. Failing to listen to yourself could lead to worse problems in the long run, to include a collapse of your overall health. So for your own good–rest.
