Tooth: The Tooth is in Fall; this signifies that you should be making plans to rest, and to coast on your momentum some. You’ve put in a lot of effort, and as it pays off you need to pay yourself back by having some downtime. But that only happens if you make the choice to do so, and it’s all too easy to let yourself get pulled back into responsibilities and obligations. Try to set them aside for a little while so you can recuperate.
Vertebra: This bone is way over in Winter, very near the edge of the cloth. To me, this says that your focus on resources needs to be on how to best make them last over the time to come, rather than burning them out by doing too much. You have enough to last if you’re careful, and the nice thing about giving yourself rest time is that you replenish some of these resources, like energy and health. It’s okay to use a bit of your money to do something nice for yourself, too; there’s a big difference between buying something small for a hobby of yours, or a little treat, and going absolutely hog-wild spending way too much. Think of it as investing in yourself.
Rib: The Rib is in Spring, crossing over into Summer. You have the opportunity to really replenish yourself emotionally, and inside you’re ready for growth and exploration. But if you allow yourself that time to recuperate, you’ll give your emotions the room they really need to blossom.
Long Bone: The Long Bone is in Winter, just having crossed over from Fall. It seems to beckon to the Tooth, inviting it into the warm fire that keeps us cozy during Winter’s chill. You’ve already been making moves toward this time of rest out of necessity; Winter really does affect a lot of what we’re able to do, from weather restrictions to the current pandemic to just wanting to stay inside where it’s warm. Use that opportunity to slow down and focus inward, whether that’s in the home, in the self, etc.
Overview: I think the message is pretty clear: it’s time to rest! Make space for yourself to have some downtime, however you’re able to.
