Her only contact with the outside world is her mate, who brings her food through a tiny hole in the wall. She even sheds her flight feathers so she couldn’t leave even if she wanted to. But once the young are old enough, she breaks through the wall with her new brood–and new flight feathers. Think about her creative isolation, taking time away from the world for an intense transformation and gift to the world. How can you transform yourself? What may you offer your own ecosystem? And how can you put aside the time and space to make those happen?
