Today’s Tarot of Bones daily draw is Death. Death, it seems, is all around us. In the temperate Northern hemisphere, annual plants are dying off, and deciduous trees lose their leaves; many insects have already passed, and some animals that seek shelter will not survive the winter. In the United States, as of this morning, 267,080 people have died from COVID-19. Worldwide, we’ve lost 1,470, 457. For those who have lost someone, whether to COVID or otherwise, I give you my deepest condolences. Yet you who read this are still alive and, I hope, well. Do your best to maintain your health and that of those you love. And, to paraphrase Mother Jones, “Mourn the dead, and fight like hell for the living.”
