Today’s Tarot of Bones daily draw is the Star. Today, allow yourself to hope. Yes, it makes you vulnerable, and you’ve been hurt before. That’s why hoping is so very brave an act, really. When we give up hope, we give up everything, and that makes it more likely that the world will fall deeper into shadow (as Tolkien puts it.) You are allowed to temper your hope with realism, of course; setting your sights too high will necessarily lead to disappointment. But if you only look at the losses, then you never get a chance to appreciate the wins, no matter how small. So today: hope.
