Tooth: The Tooth is crossing over from Spring into Summer. This indicates that you are eager and ready to make things happen, and you have a damned good plan. You will need all your skill and savvy to make the most of what’s ahead, but you know you can do it, even if there are doubts that nibble at you now and then. Have confidence in yourself and your abilities, be patient in areas where you need to catch up a bit, and you’ll do well.
Vertebra: This bone has just crossed over from Winter into Spring. Your challenge is going to be to do a lot with a little. You may not be fully recovered from previous setbacks and lean times, but the good news is that you’ve learned how to stretch what you’ve got. And if all goes well, you’re about to embark on a great recovery! So play it smart, but not too cautious; you may need to take a bit of a risky step forward to make progress.
Rib: This bone is fully in Spring. You’ve been through a lot, and you’re tired, but there is hope! Things are about to change for the better! Let that possibility of a better future buoy you up. It doesn’t mean you have to completely throw off your exhaustion, but give yourself the space to actually heal rather than hanging onto the bad experiences of the past.
Long Bone: This bone is right next to the Vertebra and is also almost entirely crossed over from Winter to Spring. You may be letting your thin resources hold back your actions. While this may have been what helped you get through rough times, you need to allot some of those resources toward recovery and growth, rather than just survival. You can’t stay in this spot forever, and you have the competence to use what you’ve got creatively and effectively. So unfetter yourself, and allow yourself to stretch out your arms to embrace the good things ahead.
Overview: When we have gone through hard times, those experiences mark us. It can be difficult to break out of the behavior patterns we took on to survive, but we need to remember that we learned a lot of valuable survival skills that we can use to get ourselves out of that hole. There are new possibilities ahead, and if we just allow ourselves to move toward them we can make the most of a shining new day.
