Today’s Tarot of Bones daily draw is the Hermit. The female hornbill spends her entire nesting and brooding term walled up in the crevice of a dead tree, with only a tiny hole connecting her to the world. After several weeks she breaks out, not only sharing her fledglings with the world, but sporting a glorious new set of flight feathers. As we are beginning to emerge from the pandemic–though we aren’t out of the woods yet–let’s see if we can make our own fabulous return to the world at large. We may still have to exercise caution to keep each other safe, and we may need some time to adjust to the way things are now. But we can see light shining through the hole in the wall, and it’s time to start planning a shift for the better.
